I'm also after some of these for a MY2000 5dr. Just got the AP22 and I'm dead impressed. any tips on getting a good 0-60mph time? Dumped the clutch at 5500rpm and generated lots of smoke on my way to 60 in 6.20 seconds.

You should be able to get most of the numbers out of the SIDC FAQ (kerb weights, etc.)

The difficult one is CdA. IIRC the drag coefficient is 0.34 or 0.35. To calculate the frontal area do:

(Overall_height*Overall_width)-(Overall_width*Ground_clearance)+2*(Tyre_width*Gro und_clearance)

The frontal area of the car is essentially a box which is height*width, minus a hole underneath the height of the ground clearance, plus a couple of little boxes which are the wheels sticking out from the bottom.

frontal area 2.04sq metres for classic
cd 0.33 for classic
mass about 1240kg without driver, don't forget to add you own mass.

I think these are pretty accurate

edited to add that dumping clutch at 5500 probably isn't good for times, as you will end up with too much clutch slip.

I try to start lifting off the clutch very slightly at about 3000, then more throttle and progressivly lift of clutch and feed in throttle, clutch should be fully lifted before 3000, and throttle at 100%.

Probably differnt on a 2000 as it has smaller turbo with less lag. You should be able to pull a sub 6 second 0-60 with too much grief.

Pete

I emailed Sam the setings I use on my AP22, they produced within 2 bhp of the rolling road graph and within 0.1 seconds of my Crail 1/4 mile times and speeds.
I don't have them to hand just now, try Sam, if not I can get them later (interpretation >>> L8R)
Depending how much hifi you're running you may need to take off some KG from the Lardy EVO7's Mass setting that Sam used
