Hi all,

I'm in the middle of converting my EJ20 to an EJ257.

I've just noticed that the EJ257 has a pipe sticking out of the top, in the middle that the EJ20 doesn't have.

Can you please tell me what it is for and what I should connect to it, or should I blank it off?

It is a breather pipe looking at a picture on the APS website.

I am sure when I fitted this kit to my bug this pipe goes onto the bottom of the inlet manifold.

rebuilt my 2005 wrx as a 2.5 and just blanked it off !!

No problem

 

blanked it off on my conversion had no problems.

I might just connect it to the other breather as I'm paranoid that any little thing will make my rebuild go t*ts up!!
