spool up at 4000 revs?
just bought this car with these mods can anyone tell me why boost is so late on in the revs

This is my old car - it has the standard sti up-pipe and headers as far as i know.
I never noticed any problem as to when boost kicked in
and during time ive owned it - apart from when it had remap from jgm (which you would expect) - it hasnt changed at all. Im sure though that the turbo spooled before 4k for me (more 3-3500rpm) and 4k would be when the turbo really put you back in seat. Unless im understanding it wrong and it shouldnt be like that?
Simon - you didnt notice anything like this when mapping car did you? surely this would have shown up during mapping if any leaks etc?
