MY94 WRX Power loss after fitting new exhaust???
Hi all,
I have just had the exhaust on my 94 wrx replaced. I had a 3" system before and found it way too loud, so I took it to the exhaust shop, and they insisted and fitted a 2.5" straight through system. It just seems that the car doesnt have the same accelaration anymore and you dont get the same "kick back" anymore?? Would it be the exhaust?? Should I have stuck with the 3" ??
HELP!!!
Cheers!

MY94 WRX power loss after fitting new exhaust??
Hi mate,
Well I bought the car with the 3" and dont know if it was mapped? I bought it from a dealer and he didnt know either. I havent reset the ecu after having the new exhaust fitted. Do you think this will help??
Cheers!

the easiest way to reset the ecu is to unplug the battery for half an hour then take it out & the ecu will relearn & adjust itself fueling etc have you got a boost gauge fitted? should see about 12-13psi if its running the standard ecu no remap
