Hiya chaps, wondering if anyone can shed any light on this for me. Car is a myoo turbo 2000 with full 2.5 inch decat, panel filter and resonator out. I did Oulton park on fri and after 3 hard laps the boost was going up to 1.4 bar on the gauge straight away then back to 0.5 bar then back to a 1.0 bar? is this boost spike ? Car drove fine all the way home and the boost never crept over 1.1 bar as normal, just crept up on track as soon a the engine bay got hot? When the boost did drop back you could hear the exhaust note change as the car lost all power? Any light on this would be great.

Are you running an aftermarket boost controller?

 

Nope no boost controler at all.
