You're wrong it is not probably the worst question ever, it IS the worst question ever.

'Yes' answers the question, but doesn't help you, the list is so long no-one will sit here and type it without some more info, also not telling us what model/year classic and what model 02 bug (GLX/WRX/STi) majorly impacts carryover, many more bits will carryover from an 00 than a 93 or if ones a turbo the other not etc etc etc. Also classic turbo engines cannot carry over to an 02WRX (making assumption) as a direct swap (no AVCS for starters, maybe 3bolt if prephase1.5, and if its phase1.5/2 it has coil pack not plug top coils - so that assumption is wrong as well).

ok, sorry didnt realise that there is so many factors to consider.

ok i have a 1995 uk turbo its not carrying its stardard engine it has a 2006 sti, the engine management system is a apexi, k-sport brakes, tein coilovers and a 6speed sti gearbox that came out of a 2006 sti also.

the car that i am hoping to use as a doner is a 2001 bugeye gx. it has already had a turbo engine swap, (not sure about the gearbox) sti suspension, brembo brakes and sti interior.

hopefully now someone can help me? please

Most of it will fit, the difficult part will be wiring the ecu in.... IMHO
