project bugeye
im thinking about buying a bugeye with the intension of transffering some parts from my 1995 uk turbo. now i have post a thread which i understand was lacking information, so i'll try again.
i have a 95 uk turbo which has had a full engine rebuild. the engine that is now in place has a block from a 06 STI 6speed gearbox from a 06 STI. i have tein coilovers k-sport brake system.
the doner car is a 2001 bugeye 2.0 gx. can i transfer the parts from my classic on the bugeye?

Hi mate, I have bought a bug 2.0 gx about 6 months ago. I have just finished the exterior and had the same thoughts of upgrading parts from a bug wrx so I have the power to go with the looks.
I have various contacts in the motor trade now and they have all said by the time you have done (cost wise) you will easier be able to buy a WRX anyway.
So my advice would be to sell your 1195 UK turbo and put the money towards a WRX bugeye. I am not sure of your budget etc but I found a really clean 2002 bug eye WRX with extemely low mileage for 6k. But this was in mint condition so I am sure you would be able to find a slightly cheaper one.
Hope that helps.
