Default Need help with choosing mods for scooby

Hi, i recently took delivery of my 1995 N reg 2.0l turbo uk scooby. I am looking to change the dump valve and the cold air intake system. The previous owner had put on a baileys dump valve and a jap import hks induction kit.

What my question is, what replacement parts would suit my car better that what is on there now?

Need to make the scooby a little quicker due to brother in law having a slightly quicker model.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Standard air box and panel filter and and standard dump valve or you could block the dv and run without but that might not be the best for your engine last time i looked at it there was a bit of debate on the subject hth

As above put standard airbox and dump valve on, my first mod would be an exhaust with a de cat.

Yeah deact down pipe should see an improvement if you do go for one get it heat wrapped seems to make a gain could also do the center cat but then you have to replace it for mot time get the suspension set up to fast road spec and you should have the edge on the twistys over your mate this was my best mod yet only 150ish but worth it i hth jon
