Default Help! Been Told Failing Water Pump Caused Headgasket Faluire

Brought my suabru and the engine was under warrenty. They replaced the head gasket once be for free of charge. But i noticed the same symptoms coming back, but it was not over heating yet. So i told them to have a look at it.

No they come back saying my water pump is not pumping enough water and is leaking and failing, and this is what has coursed the head gasket to fail again.

I thought a water pump only curses problems when it complety fails

Can this happen from a failing water pump

Thanks

Also they are saying i have to pay for it now because its a ancillery that has failed

If the pump can't circulate enough water then the heads pick up too much heat and warp, allowing the head gaskets to fail.
Did the heads get skimmed last time?

Who is the warranty issued by and is it clear in the terms what is covered?
