Could anyone tell me what the advantage is of upgrading the stock wrx transmission mount to an STi group N transmission mout?

 

Yes, it reduces the movement and shuntiness when coming on/off throttle by making the mount stiffer, of course that also means more NVH!

changed my engine and trannie mounts and didn't notice much if any additional NVH

 

Thanks for that, its just an upgrade ive been considerin along with the STi engine mounts to stop the slight wiggle in the engine bay, not to sound like too much of a noob but what do you mean by NVH?
