is the 'TD' bit the exhaust size, then the 16, 18, or 20g the compressor wheel size?

TD05H-16G - TD05 indicates the centre core size (MHI start at TD03, via 035, 04 and 05 to 06), Subaru used the H turbine wheel, the 16/18/20G refers to the choice of compressor wheel (bigger number is bigger wheel as a rule of thumb), had the turbine entry area been non standard that would have been included in the nomenclature as well, not sure of the standard size for a Td05, TD04 is 6cm^2 there is a lot more to it than that, but you need to be more specific!
