Default Vacum Leak could a milermeter wide hole course it

With my new MAF my cars been idlein eraticly.

My m8 said it could be vaaucm leak, so i checked and found a hole on the pipe thats the inlet elbow to the dump vavle, its only about a mm big but could tht be it?

yes. it could be relesing too much pressure when under boost and then when you come to idle it doesnt know whats going on

Any hole is a leak, It will suck air in on idle or cruise and blow air out on boost.

yep it will be taking air into the inlet pipework after the maf. so wont be measured.
