Default Lost boost for 3 days

a couple of weeks ago i was driving on the motorway and was having a burn with another scooby, after about ten minutes all the boost just went, stopped the car and the turbo was making a very unheathly rattle, drove home very slowly, went to see a subaru mechanic 3 days later and on that morning started driving the car and the boost was back and the rattling noise was gone, the mechanic drove it and said he couldn't see anthing wrong with it but had never heard of that happening before,it's been running no problems for just over 2 weeeks now, just wandering if anyone has any ideas to what happened as it's a bit of a strange thing to happen, cheers

Interesting one this i must say, could it be that your engine was detting and the ECU went into Limp mode...What mods have you got? what turbo and is your car remapped? if so what engine management system or chip are you running?

I'll have to think about this one, maybe somebody else has experienced this before? who could comment.
