Anyone know if it is possible to disable just the passenger airbag on a my00 Impreza turbo?

Yes, commonly done when removing the drivers airbag to fit an aftermarket wheel or the seats for different seats etc etc.

It will have to be the resistor mod, only way. Not sure what one you need.
I just pulled the airbag fuse, which disables both airbags. So someone will say something about you must tell your insurance company etc.
Anyway, if you want to replace the airbag with a lovely storage compartment, you let me know
