fuel pump not running after engine change
my nephew just changed the engine on his 94 wrx and now the fuel pump runs long enough to charge the fuel system allowing it to run for a few seconds then cuts out !! can sombody help ???

If you're just keying on the ignition, that's what it's supposed to do, it will run when cranking, and once the engine is started. If the engine just doesn't start I would suspect there is another problem.
