Help with dump valve (bung)
Hi i am going to fit a forge motorsport dumpvalve to my version 3 97. I have heard that you need a bung when fitting any dump valve.. is this true or will it be fine without 1?

yes u need to put a blanking plug in the recirculating pipe these can be bought on ebay for about 8 pounds you'll need a 34mm one i think

So is 34 mm the correct size cos notice there is quite a lot of different sizes

You obviously only need the bung if your Forge DV HASN'T got the recirc port to it i.e. we're assuming its a VTA style one?

yes search 34mm blanking plug on ebay you will see them and you will need this is it is a vta blow off valve

the guy im buying it off is nto sure if its vta or not just said it came of a version 3 (same as mine) will have to see when it arrives....
