Default oil pressure

hi guys, where would be the best place to fit a oil pressure gauge sender unit, would it be ok to fit it where the original sender is on the top of the block?? and, what should the oil pressure gauge be reading with an uprated oil pump?
cheers

An up-rated pump usually has bigger rotors to move more oil, not necessarily at a higher pressure...

IMHO

P.S. Hot idle on mine is 4 bar, and cold starting is 7 bar. 6 bar hot with a few K.rpm showing.
