Been contenplating changing to an STI and have found a lovely Prodrive type 300, all looks good and low mileage. only problem i noticed was the boot was wet and it looks like the IC bottle is leaking.
is this something thats common and/or easy to fix?

All depends where the leak is. If it is from the actual plastic tank then araldite is brilliant, if it is from the pump seal you could either get a new seal or plaster it with silicon sealent. The tank is only a few bolts to remove it. Had to use that when I fitted a spec c tank behind my back seat as someone previously had butchered the hole, The piece of tissue under it is still dry.
