Default sti type uk 05 on

hi guys basically im 22 and been driving 5 years and have 1 years ncb, i am looking at either a scooby or an evo. due to my age tuning the car is basically a no go with insurance, but i can change the exhaust and air filters.
my question is if i change the exhaust (best availiable) on the sti type uk and the panel filter and add a K&N typhoon cold air induction kit, what bhp gains would i be looking at if the standard is 275?

thanks for ya help guys

Standard power is 262bhp, air filter may add 1-3bhp, exhaust (backbox) will add naff all, you need either a full decat or a sports cat, and either way that requires a remap (which is out of the question).
Basically virtually no insurance co covers unde 25's on cars like evo's and STi's as they are classed as high risk, and can I ask (because if i dont then someone else will ) why in 5 years of driving dont you have 4 years ncb? (plus if you have points that wont help either )

yep, tony is right...youll be very lucky to get insurance on the likes of an evo or sti. the mods you mentioned wont gain you much if anything.. am i right in saying that the k&n typhoon kit does away with the airbox therefore you wont need a panel filter? also if you do put the induction kit on (K&N) you will require a remap to sort the air/fuel mix out.

im 30 and insurance on an 05 plate Evo is rediculous
