Default Afterburner Vortex Backbox

There are currently a few afterburner back boxes for sale on ebay and the sellers say that they will fit all Subaru's 93 - 07.
Does anybody know if this is definitely the case? I thought that the fittings on classics would be different to a new age.
I want one for my 05 STi.

Cheers

Rear hangers have to be modified to swap between classic/newage
