Hi guys ive been trying to get hold of my mapper andy forrest for 2 weeks now. the thing is my car goes in tommorrow for its remap.
now iam getting a simtek ecu installed but iam not sure if i can drive my car down to him or will it do it damage. its a P1 with fmic.injectors.20g turbo.fpr etc. can i drive it with the maf in to get it there then i will put the induction kit in. what should my fuel pressure be?
if ive missed any info please say and i will add it in.

 

it should be fine as long as you stay OFF boost. I did the excat same mods and drove from my house (Northern Ireland) to andys for mapping which is a good few hundred miles

 

as above off boost you will be fine

and do i just run it with the maf in place with no filter?

seen few things sayin fuel press shud be 2.5 to 3 but ask about before adjusting to this coz not sure

 

Do you mean air filter? I sure you need a air filter on

 

i cant run with my filter on cause the intercooler pipes are in the way. its just got the maf box in. i will just nurse it there.
