First thing you need to do is ask your mapper whether he prefers his three ports set up interrupt or bleed.
Then, if you want specific help here, you're probably going to need to tell us which type of three port you've got and which model of car you're putting it in.
Best bet may be to take it with you and get the mapper to put in, as (unless he's coming to you), it'll be pretty much undrivable until mapped anyway.

Are the greddy profec A suitable? i have on hand it seems like a 3 port solenoid as well.
recently fitted it n boost is more stable right away . is it safe to run the JDM sti V8 on these boost controller at stock boost at 1 bar?

excuse my ignorance here guys but what benefit will one be? Im going for a remap soon after fitting headers and an sti intercooler to my Vf34'd 1997/ 98 classic.
What do they do? an should I get one?
Its mapped with a dastek ecu.

The best person to put that question to is whoever's going to be mapping your car. The potential benefit could be more consistent boost control with better throttle response, but a lot depends on your individual setup and the mapper's own experience and preference.
