Problem with OCV
Hello,
My name is Carlo, i live in Italy and i own an 2005 SPEC C Type RA.
A friend of mine has an 2004 STI. From some days his impreza has a fault (engine warning). The ecu went in recovery. The diagnosic log said that the problem is OCV valves (right and left). The errors are p1307 and p1309. Now the mechanic sent the logs to subaru of italy for a feedback (he said that it is the first time that see these errors).
In the meawhile someone has idea what could be this problem? Where are located the OCV valves?
Thks in advange for every comments

Thks for reply.
Now I saw the position of two sensors.
Someone know the difference between the following OCV faults? what is the difference about "OPEN" and "SHORT" error?
P1306 OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 1 Circuit Malfunction (Open)
P1307 OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 1 Circuit Malfunction (Short)
With romrider i checked that both OCVs (right and left) are 9.41% in every condition (max, min current) and the voltage is max 0,8volts.
I checked the ecu and ocvs connectors and they seems fine. Now i will try to change the two OCVs valves. The very strange fact is the both are in fault together (in the same time).
are these ocv valves the same for IMPREZA SPEC C and normal STI cars, or Spec C have a dedicate ocv valve?
Pls let me know your opinion.
