Duz anyone no what these piston are , I bought the motor and have built it up into my wrx found this pic of the build so ide thought ide ask

i think from what i heve read, if they have the hatching on the back of them they are standard, and with out aftermarket. but could be wrong. apart from this, i havent got a clue sorry

We have dozens of different types of pistons and NONE like that.

What you have is 2.0 sport pistons.

Yes m8 your the nearest up to now It was a legacy motor with the water intercooler HMMM it look like they standard legacy piston
As for a sport your way out m8 I have a sport and they more like wrx piston

The standard Cast pistons will have cross hatching on the underside of the crown.

they are legacy ones as i brought a closed deck engine not so long ago and they were the same as those,

dont know mate as i brought the engine as a rebuild project but the bolt heads which hold the two block halfs together were so badley corroed i could not get them out so i took it back and had my money back
