Mine started slipping before it was mapped to 390/360 and had been fine running for years at 340 bhp. On removal it is in good condition, but was simply unable to handle the increased torque. 2002 STI. Started in top gear first and then gradually got worse.
Sorry !

The standard clutches seem to be good in the Newage STI's and will certainly cope with over 400/400, *if* treated properly. Worry about it when it starts to slip.... just make sure you don't ride the clutch. The more launches you do, the more chance you have of popping it. As far as the gearbox is concerned.... myself and many many others run these at over 500/500 with no problems.
