was wondering what engine spec would you need to run Anti Lag as i no running this the engine and turbo gets very very hot, so i take it you would need forged internals? or could you use standard and does it matter what turbo you use?

I'm running it with forged and WI, must admit at slow speeds the heat builds up quick. I dont use if for that long and would recommend you did the same if std build...mapper would tell you for sure - I recommend Bob Rawle.

Ive got a simtek with "anti-lag" on standard internals, 300ish bhp and was told by the mapper the most likely damage it would do is melt exhaust valves

 

oh rite ok, does any one no how much it would cost to upgrade or replace the schimms?

 

"Real" anti lag eats turbo's for breakfast, if its just the pops and bangs then a mapper can put that on for you

well ive got the Apexi ecu + pfc, and i did mention 2 my mapper wen i had it mapped last yr and he never done it
