vf35 question
will the oil line, water line, gaskets and feed etc from my 2006 wrx tdo4 turbo come off and fit straight onto the vf35 turbo iv bought? as i dont want to spend 50 pounds and wait on new oil water line kit coming from japan.

As the VF35 is a ball bearing design you'll also need to reduce the oil supply volume. This is done by changing one of the banjo bolts for one with a smaller orifice - think it's the cylinder head end but sure one of the others will confirm.

You'll probably have to modify them a little but they will fit. You should find that the water supply and return banjos are fixed together with little strip of metal. This will have to be broken off to separate the two lines before you can refit them to the new turbo.

You do not have to change the banjo bolt going from TD > VF.
You do however have to get the correct banjo bolt for swapping the VF series turbo for a mitsi (TD) one. If you don't they will be starved of oil and not last too long!
