hi there,my subaru started knocking and cut out immediately, it turned out to be a piece of cambelt cover broke inside ,got caught in the belt and jumped a couple of teeth,then stalled,i have not tried to start the engine and im going to do the timing and see if there has been any damage to the engine,the timing marks dont line up now and i was wondering what is the best way to check for tdc when retiming?dont want to put the belt back on and have the 50-50 chance of tdc-180? spark plug out and piece of thin wood down bore? thanks again bryan
