have a friend who has a bugeye wrx and is experiencing problems as power n revs is down. mods is the usual intake/exhaust/walbro pumps and open ecu.

problem is when engine is on load it will on revs till 5500 rpm but boost does builds up. they have already clean all the fuel systems and replace other sensors on the intake side and problem still persist. does anyone has any reocmmendation on this situation?

reggiemy99: yes mate open source ecu but has been retune . the car has no check engine or whatever and has been brought to a subaru dealer and they still couldnt find the culprit

Stab in the dark check the actuator, if this problem has only happend since the ecu flash revert to standard map and see if this resolves this issue.

dont think there is a problem with the ecu as it boost fine and just like hitting a brickwall once it reach 5000rpm like a fuel cut and also based on the boost guage its spot on at 15psi
