Default boost control solinoid (help)

Hi i was looking at this thread (see below) does this procedure apply to the newage? i took it off and cleaned with carb cleaner but would it be best to put the geen plugs together so it pulses like it says (plus what are the green plugs for ?

Hi there,
I've got to be honest and say I don't know much about the newage cars. I've got a classic model 96 WRX and I've done the above to my car so everything relates to that but I'm sure it's not going to be much (if any) different for your car.
The green plugs under the steering column are the "Test mode" connectors. You need to connect the green plugs when cleaning the boost solenoid I believe so that it begins to operate and will let the brake cleaner all the way through it. When you plug in the green connectors and turn your ignition to power on (not engine start) you should start to hear the boost solenoid clicking and also some other things will start testing like your radiator fans so be careful around moving parts.
