Default VF36/37 Twin Scroll Turbo Fitment

Does anybody know apart from the up pipe and headers whether a VF36 or VF37 twin scroll turbochargers require any further modifications to be carried out? My car is a 2006 2.5 WRX.

I think I might have read somewhere that the oil sump might also need changing but again I think this might only apply to 2 litre engines.

From memory,

1, Downpipe.
2. Uppipe.
3. Headers.
4. Sump. due to shape of headers/uppipe I think.
5. Smaller oil filter.
6. Twin scroll turbo VF36/37.

Bloody expensive route to go down if you already have single scroll!

Looks like unless I can get the above for a good price I might have to reconsider my plans or find a written off JDM STi or spec C/D.

No need to change the sump - the 2.5 engines used the same one as the twin scroll cars.
Have a word with RobinSherwood who has done this swap on a spec D.

I have recently done this conversion on a 2ltr using all the parts listed above apart from the Oil filter as its the same.

However I was advised that the VF37/36 is too small for use with a 2.5 due to the extra cc's. This info came from David @ APi & Bob Rawle It would be worthwhile checking with them to check suitability.
