Equal length headers un equal length headers,

If having mapped with standard headers is there any difference

You will lose the scooby burble with equal lenght headers, I had my standard ones ported and wrapped, made a noticeable difference to spool time.

im confused you hear things like min 25 bhp gain from equal length,
however when speak to ?proffesionals? they say leave originals on ?? and get mapped

If your not going mental power wise i imagine your best bet is to have your standard ones ported and wrapped. Equal length/tubular are for big power.

tubular headers (the decent ones) see a good gain.. equal and unequal don't really see noticable gains between either.

The 3bolt up-pipe tubular headers work very well and retain the burble etc..

so you would gain more by changing the turbo, rather than headers..

vf34, vf35, td05 16g, vf28 etc

I think the turbo would cost more than the headers though? possibly

Just been given headers how do i tell if there equal or un equal? got a measurement of 22" and 23" roughly or would there be more difference
