Fuel consumption
I have a bugeye wrx and I gave up putting petrol in I now fill up in £20 notes lol. I used to own a Fiat coupe 20v turbo and that seemed better on fuel?
Did you know that when your touching the red you still have 15L of fuel left, with me I am always filling up but only putting in 40-45L when I am on empty I have a 60L tank CONFUSED

As for MPG totally depends how your driving it, for example i went to london last weekend and used full tank on the way there but only 3 quarters on the way back!

Ive got a UK MY99 Turbo 2000 with PPP and I get 80 - 90 miles for £20 driving sensibly, with pushing my foot down regularly I get between 70 and 80 miles, but true, these cars aint meant to be driven 20 miles a day urban!
I find my Standard UK MY00 Classic a lot better on fuel than I thought it would be haven`t worked out the exact but its better than my prev golf vr6 and its a lot more smiles per gallon than the vr..
Good god some people have humongous fuel consumption are you sure your 02 sensor isn't dead? I get 300 miles to 45 litres. Longish journeys and some hard driving on the back roads, but careful driving the rest of the journey.
It might be about the smiles but when it cost 200 a month in fuel it ain't so funny.

Well I've got a Classic Turbo 2000 with PPP and I'm getting on £50 driving normally with the occasional press down of the foot no more than 200 miles. Is that about right for that car? How do I check if the o2 sensors gone?
Thanks
Thanks
Everyone has different driving habits but that seems mighty excessive, I would expect over 320 miles from £50.
If you have RomRaider (search google), a VAG com cable, a laptop and a MY99/00 car you can look at all the sensor readings. The 02 sensor should fluctuate between 0.3v and 0.7 volts on idle or cruise. If you don't have any one of the above its more difficult, and swapping in a known working one would be easier.
You could check it on a hot idle using a multimeter. The black wire of the three is the signal wire (whites are the heater) and you should see the voltage swinging between the above values maybe 1-3 times a second. If its stuck at a low value or is very slow then its probably dead.
