hi can anyone help pls?
I've picked up a brand new back box.

The detailing on the tail pipe says "WR SPORT".
Any idea what this is?
There is some Prodrive engraving on the box which reads:

Part number is: SE 001 SU,

Type/DRG: 1085,

EG number: E4 030672

The WR SPORT would make me think the box is for a classic not newage. But the engraving seems suitable for newage? Im totally lost.

Every NEWAGE pro drive box i've seen in Round in appearance. The one I've picked up is Oval.
Any ideas?

mine on my prodrive was oval and had wr sport onit so its fine mate its from a bugeye by the sounds of it then

Thanks for the info, done some googling and it appears it could be from either a special edt classic shape upgrade or maybe a bugeye edition.
Hopefully it will and wont give me any problems!

If anyone else has any knowledge of this exhaust, would be good to hear from ya.

I have that fitted on my05 wrx. It is oval and has wrsport on it. The have them on the subaru web site under accessories for my05 sti. I was told that the round prodrive exhausts came with the ppp pack and the oval ones were the official aftermarket option.

It sound so much better than the pea shooter that came with the car but doesn't drone on the motorway.

I got one of those on ebay a coupla years ago and it went straight on my 98 classic no problem. Think all the hangers are in exactly the same place.

Have the exact one on my 02 bug, sounds perfect for me. Nice deep burble and good when you push on. Not too intrusive on long runs either. Subtle option.

Thanks for all the replies. Had the exhaust fitted yesterday.
Sounds nice and lovely. A nice upgrade from the standard box.

Nice burble but fairly quiet on the M-ways and dual carriages.

Next mod coming up: Panel filter, looking on here most suggest the green filter, so will check it out.
