Default head gasket

how much does it cost for head gaskets plus time
if job to difficult thinking about putting it into a garage
not lucking forward to the cost was going to save for a remap

if you can get the car to m mate i can get it done for around 500 quality by qualified experienced mechanics

I was quoted about £1000 for my JDM STi, I have decided that I am just going to put a new engine in, its cheaper than repairing the blown one.
Its a pitty as I have an early STi with forged engine parts, but I cant bring myself to pay that just for a head gasket.

£800-1k on average inc the skim etc, 2 heads so twice the price
