Default oil leak

hi people,
i recently bought my first subaru which is a 93 wrx and it seems to have started leaking from the oil pan (sump) can any one tell me if they actually have a gasket or is it just a sealant used as i cant find anythin on the net and is it an easy diy. any advice would be apreciated, cheers

Welcome to SN

The turbo models don't have a gasket. Just use a good jointer such as this

Suburu impreza sump sealer Threebond 1215 on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 07-Jul-09 11:01:24 BST)

cheers for that mate, also could you tell me if there is a torque setting for the nuts when tightening them back up?
