Engine taps?

Hi scooby owners, could anyone tell me what the red engine taps are for on the '03 STI' with the Prodrive Perfrmance Pack on.
Any information will be greatfull

They are like small red taps what have + and - on them, so obviously they adjust something. they have thin stainless pipeworko them down into the engine.
