Default Headgasket changed and now engine wont start?

just recentley chaned my head gaskets and had the engine all connected up and ready to fire up but it only cranks over? can someone confirm which way the fuel lines go on the inlet manifold? and which way the injectors need to be connected? is it dark grey connected nearest to the back(gearbox side)? I also noticed sometimes when i go to crank the engine light doesnt always come one straight away when you turn the ignition on... any ideas?

how can you tell if you have the wrong camshaft fitted? is there an obvious way of telling the exhaust camshaft from the inlet camshaft?

Camshafts are clearly marked:
LH IN
LH EX
RH IN
RH EX

Left hand being passenger side ~ Right Hand Turbo side.
