Need a Radical Rad
Hi boys and girls,
I have a UK 1997 Impreza turbo and whilst driving to work noticed a high temperature level and steam from the engine bay. Closer inspection I found a tiny hole in the radiators off side tank. I believe this to be a common fault with the Impreza.
I am going to replace it with an up rated new radiator and some silicone hoses.
I hope to run a 2.5 and a front mounted intercooler in the future and just wanted to ensure I purchased high performance parts that will not require upgrading again. In addition, will this pose any problems with installation, such as the fan pack still fitting and can anyone recommend manufactures to trust or avoid.
Cheers

An all alloy one should go the job, but you probably don't need it.
The std item (in good condition) is more than up to the job esp when combined with a low temp termostat.
I'm running FMIC, 1.8bar of boost on track and the std radator is fine even on a hot summer's day...
Unless you fancy the look/extra expense of an all alloy one, stick with a good quality standard one.

Well I'm going for the alloy rad as it looks great.
Know of any good manfactuers. I've been looking at Mishimoto and Koyo (koyorad) products and that seem good. Can't find any mainstream producers such as HKS.
Anybody found an alloy fan shroud.
