Default what turbo ave i got CAN U HELP???

when i swapped my clio v6 for my subaru i was led to believe that it had a vf24
but after reading up a bit i noticed that a vf24 has a quick spool ie about 2400 rpm unfortunately mine dosnt kick in till 3500 rpm so does any one know what turbo i have?? also its quite big in size and has loads of power, but when i change down gear at high speed ie from 5th to 4th or 4th to 3rd and floor it the car cuts out on over boost i think my ecu needs remapping but how far should i push the boost low range gears it boost's at 1 bar and its fine any suggestions any one???

Can you not read the plate on the turbo which tells you what model it is?
