What should peak boost be on a standard 98 UK

 

I was asking the same question about two months ago.
And after mucho looking around and phoning various people, I came to the conclusion that standard peak boost should be 0.7 Bar (10 PSI), but the safe running pressure can be as much as 1.2 Bar (17.5 PSI). This answer is not 100%, its just the outcome I managed to obtain. Hope this helps.

Mines running at 0.9 bar peak and holding 0.8 bar but it was getting 1.1bar peak and holding 1 bar.

A late 1998 car can be an MY99 with the phase 2 engine, in which case the boost target for the car would be 13.7 psi IIRC

 

14 psi 4th gear strong excelleration,std spec,STI 16 psi

 

sorry mate,
it's an early 98 with the coil in the middle of the manifold and it has the tdo4
I'm getting 13psi peak but was getting almost 16psi peak.
