Question

Your car's TD04 (or TD05 if early MY94-96) turbo is good for about 270-290bhp and similar numerical lb ft on the OEM TMIC (remapped with a decat downpipe and running c.1.1bar of boost).

Before carrying on with this answer though, do you have a specific - or rough - bhp goal in mind? (Also, is it a MY1999/2000 with the 440cc injectors?).

full decat
walboro fuel pump
TD04H or TD05/16g from andy forrest
550cc injectors
tek 3 remap
K+N57i

intercooler is ok but consider front mount or STi top mount

will see 320 - 340 bhp with excellent driveability.

Bung on a decat downpipe, Walbro 255 fuel pump, decent panel filter and new plugs (preferably NGK PFR7B)... Then remap the lot and you'll get 270-290bhp - considerable increase from your std 208 (or 215)!

But more importantly, the car will be transformed... just like what you're after!

NOTE: You'll need a Apexi Power FC (or ESL Live) ECU if yours is MY94-96 car (or PFC only if MY97/98). The MY99/00 cars can have the OEM ECU remapped by EcuTek software if you want.

Jolly Green Monster is based in Kent but is a mobile mapper and often maps car at Surrey Rolling Road . You can either have it mapped on their rollers... or out on the road, near your home.
