Advise please, replaced the steering column and ignition.
I have just bought a 1998 wagon. Its needs a bit of work to it and ive just replaced the steering column with airbag and completely different ignition and key. Not entirely sure how these work though, it starts and runs for about 5 seconds then cuts out. Is this because of the different ignition and new key?
Do I need the original ignition for the car for it to work?
Any advise much appreciated.
