Check engine light came on and lost power

Default Check engine light came on and lost power

I was driving my type r sti v3 today, put my foot down went to 6000rpm in third gear , check engine light came on and went off also car stuttered ald lost power at the same time.Did it a couple of times after that its been driving ok.Car has been mapped and also has a turbo back exhaust.
Iam very worried i hope its not the engine,any thoughts.

Take it to a diagnostic centre and they plug the comp. in and check for fault codes.

Could be MAF or Lamb. sensor , neither serious.

Take it in as soon as you can incase it is something serious B4 you kill it and it costs you an arm and a leg!!

Has the v3 type r got the test leads under the steering column so you can do the diagnostic check yourself?
