hi would resetting my ecu improve performance.ive got a fully decatted revolution exhaust and use shell optimax feul.would it affect my alarm immob.

 

It should quickly learn after about 20mins of varied driving - you'll reach the ECU's optimum IAM coarse/fine ignition timing point. Try going up a reasonable incline at about 3/4 WOT - but without labouring the engine. I think this is a quick way of obtaining optmum ign. adv. - therefore power potential - of the motor.
