Head gaskit size

Default Head gaskit size

Can anyone advise me on head gaskit size? I have 15 tho from the crown of the piston to the block. My calcs lead me to about 0.6 thickness of gaskit,would this be about right....Andie

Without knowing the specific spec of your build :
If the pistons are 0.015" above the deck face and depending on the combustion chamber volumes and piston crown volume, would be inclined to go for 1.6mm to keep a safe quench of 0.035 ~ 0.045".
