Default Scooby is sick - HELP!!

I got a MY97 WRX and the radiator fluid is leaking somewhere above the oil reservoir. Anyone know what may be the cause and what parts I should buy before I dismantle the car?

I also got power steering fluid all over the driver-side shaft. All I need is a power steering seal kit, right?

Please note:
  • the car does not over heat, but need to top up the coolant regularly
  • there are no signs of water with the engine oil.
  • the engine SOUNDS to be running rough although the car doesn't back fire and accelerates smoothly
  • power steering works fine, just need to top up every know an then.

if you find a powersteering seal kit let me know.

Perhaps some PSteering stop leak, and perhaps some Radweld

Radiator may well be the plastic end tanks have split/cracked which is common. When the car is hot the cracks expand and let water out. Check the end tanks of the radiator while it's hot and running.

Could also be the 'O' Rings on the Coolant Cross Over pipe leaking.

Where are these plastic end tanks located? Are replacements expensive? Just want to be make sure I'll be able to source/afford anything parts I need once I start dismantling.

Thanks merlin24, your explanation could be better!! Much appriciated.

So I guess I have to purchase a new power steering pump? Do I go for a standard one or an aftermarket?

the rad tanks are on either end of the rad, and are part of it. I got a new rad off ebay and paid about 70 quid i think and its a perfect fit - its been spot on.

The steering fluid leak... you said the leak is on the shaft. Where abouts? If its the pump its normally just an O ring, although im not certain. Somebody will be more accurate than me.

I doubt its the radiator, had changed in 2 years ago and teh leaks are not from near the radiator itself.

With regards to the power steering, I checked this morning and besides leaking near teh rack, its leaking near the pump too. Does this mean I have to get a new pump and rack? Are there any seal kits?
