Default safe spec on 90k engine

my 94 wrx wagon has got 92k miles on the clock, and i planning on getting a full exhaust (manifold back) sti 8 intercooler and probably bigger fuel pump then getting it mapped. Is 92k a lot for this sort of spec, im pretty sure its had a easy life before i brought it, i brought it needing a clutch and was quite evident when i took the engine out it'd never been out before, so it's only just done its first clutch.
its a import and has been converted to MPH with a little gearbox in the speedo cable, but not sure at what milage it was converted and/or if the clocks were wound back to match.
im also planning on keeping the original turbo, is that a good idea? or is it worth getting a slightly bigger 1?

cheers
