Aftermarket exhaust manifold
I bought a nice exhaust manifold new from API, very nice, it has the expansion joints, noticed today that it looks as if it is blowing from these joints, anyone else come across this before?, only been on the car about 5 months.

Dont sound right mate 
you must be losing performance as well.
Have you tried contacting the manufacture they must have come across this sort of fault before??

I spoke to a friend of mine who's a race mechanic he said you quite often get a small blow through these sort of joints when the engine is stone cold. When the manifold heats up it expands and seals

Ok thanks David, Finchyboy you might have a very valid point there, the blowing can be heard from cold, but when hot it seems to disapear, i am losing performance though, down on boost, and i have checked all other probable things that might be the cause apart from map/ecu (will be checked next saturday), and exhaust.
