Oil Temp Sensor Fitting

Hi, Just a quick one. I am fitting the above this weekend and have read the guides but still unsure. Question is, does the top mount need to come off to fit the adaptor and sensor??

yes it does need to come off and you need an 8mm allen key to get the blanking plate out
